Brandon Norris pitched and gave up no runs in two innings
Kinder JV baseball team took on Mamou the last JV game of the year. Both teams had opportunities to score many runs but some good defense by both teams kept the scoring low. The game ended in a 1-1 tie.
Mamou and Kinder both scored a run in the 2nd inning. Kinder scored their run when Christian Manuel singled and Austin Fontenot singled to center field. Wonterio Frank got and RBI on a ground out to first.
In the 3rd Mamou had bases loaded with no outs after #3 hit the ball hard at third base and was safe at first. #26 and #4 walked. Austin Fontenot tagged out the runner trying to come in from third on a pass ball for the first out. Austin Pickle struck out the next two batters. Mamou returned to favor allowing Kinder to get two on with a Kade Andrews and Austin Pickle walk. Andrews was tagged out at third base caught trying to steal. The next two batters struck out.
Both teams had other chances to score but couldn't.
